Darwin: Beta Version 0.5.0 Update


So there were some easy and hard parts with making this update. All I really needed to do for the new environment was create some cubes, scale them, throw in some furniture (more on the way), and a small Granny Easter egg for now (may be removed later if DVloper wishes that I do so). Darwin's model was relatively easy, animations were incredibly complicated but also kind of easy.

Then we get to the areas that require items to access...

Heh, for the most part, conceptually it was the easiest thing to do in this update/patch. I needed to update my code for grabbing items so that the brick has to break the window before grabbing the keycard from the locked room. However, I need to fix a bug that lets you pick up the keycard with the brick still in your hand...

I'll get to that in 0.5.1, but for now that's about all. I'll hopefully have beta version 0.5.1 released by the end of the month or early October. Talk to you guys then!
